Hi, Over40--Yeah, gas went down to about $4.37,47,57. Cheap Arco is $4.19. NOt sure if natural gas prices will go down, but they say $100 Crude is not going to happen. Whiz.
Here in our small town in Missouri Gas is down from 3.91 to 3.79 over the last week. One can only hope it will go down some more. It had been around $80.00 to fill up my minivan.
The high here last week was $1.35/ Litre (which is $5.10 a gallon). It fell to $1.22/ L ($4.61/ gallon) when I looked last week and I think it has gone down even further since! I have my fingers crossed that it will continue the plunge. I only give myself $40 every two weeks for gas and lately I have had to supplement it out of pockey money (note, I take the bus to work). It used to be that $40 was more then enough and any left over went to the CC!
Just remember, do not get "excited" when gas goes down $0.20! We get brainwashed to think "Wow, gas below $4 is such a deal!!!)

Where I live, at the end of last week we were at $1.49/litre and tonight the pumps near me were listing $1.26/litre...I remember the days when I first started driving and I was paying $0.45/litre...those days are long gone :((
Where I live on the West Coast gas has been $1.469 (@$5.87 a gallon) and it has gone down to $1.419 (5.67 a gallon).
My car used to cost $42-$45 to fill the tank from empty when I got it less than three years ago. Now it costs about $70 to fill. I live in a rural area and I feel like I can't go anywhere unless it is for work. It is miserable.
Our gas went from $4.32 to $4.27 and that excites me.

Ours was down to $3.91 this week and it was (sadly) very exciting.
I'm hoping that's a good sign for fuel oil. We had our tank filled and it was more than $600 for 1/2 tank. Haven't paid that one yet.
