No wonder I can't sleep Welcome to my world.

This all started about a week ago. Finally the air in the house went out almost totally.

Well it is annoying, but still, wouldn't you rather have them stop the fraud before it happens? It's such a pain to get reimbursed later if they make a mistake. I have a joint checking account with my dad, and once someone used my checkcard (don't know how since I had it with me the whole time) and charged 500 dollars on it! It took 6 months to get the money back. Same thing happened with my brother's credit card once. They have to do this whole investigation thing, it takes FOREVER!!!
I traveled a lot in the last year and usually I had to call American Express (the card I use and pay off each month) to let them know where I was going to be and also, I always let my bank know, just in case because I've had them automatically shut off if the bank thought the charge wasn't mine. Also, I was trying to use my fiance's card to charge a trip we're going on in a few weeks (Citibank card) and it kept getting denied on the airline's website BUT it showed up like 3 times on his account (because it kept telling me to try again, so I did!) They called him at work to say his card must've been stolen! When he explained what was happening, they fixed it right away, though- I never had to wait 24 hours.

I've had a card call when something really big was ordered online (a laptop several years ago for 2k) but never on anything that small.
