Now that I'm reading these, I see a whole bunch of my bad habits! And I thought I didn't have any, LOL! Seriously, I thought because I don't pay for fast food, coffee, bagels, cigarettes, etc., I thought I was living cheaply. Now I've realized how much I'm NOT!
Haircut & color. I love the salon - it is quiet, no chattering. The stylist used to have his own salon, and he is fabulous. Great cut, great color. The downside is it costs $125 a month because I have very short hair so it has to be done every 5 weeks.
Pedicures. I really can't stand the time and contortions I have to go through to do my own, so I pay $25 every two weeks for pedicures from April to October. I do my own manicures, though.
Wine & beer. I love them both and it's a rare day without one or the other. Unfortunately, my tastes have gotten more expensive in recent years.
If my industry turned downward again (which it did once before, for about 3 years), I'd go back to $25 haircuts, coloring my own hair, and doing my own pedicures. But it would be hard to give up wine and learn to love cheap beer again!
This has been good food for thought, actually. I should take a look at our budget, which has a lot of fat in it, and try to figure out where we should be more economical. We're out of debt, but we're still not saving yet.
My grocery store habit, my book buying habit, and eating/drinking out habit. Today, I took out $100 cash for my groceries and $100 for my funny money/non-essentials for this pay period that lasts until 15th of August. I'm hoping to make both stretch the entire month of August.
My worst habit would be books, I'm a bookaholic, I read 2-3 a night, and I have a collection of over 4000 of them, every time I think of selling them I have a panic attack, that I wouldn't ever find them again some of the books I have
I don't let us go all nuts and have too many fancy add-ons to them, it's just a basic family plan, but the bill is still BIG for my budget, no one else is overly willing to help pay it, and heaven forbid the contract end should roll around and I should think about dropping them!

Ooooh - I do enjoy wine.
All my best,

Let's see, I suppose I have a couple:
1 - my coffee and breakfast taco at work every morning - $2.15, sometimes a second coffee @ $1.07.

All my best,
