Danni,

I used to read a lot and can't seem to do it anymore. I have a good friend who always used to buy all his books but eventually he would ask me to pick up something particular from the library for him.

Gradually I started choosing things randomly and he would pick what he liked and read them. I have fun choosing things for him to read; he gets free reading and I don't feel so totally disconnected from reading...you may wish to try that with your husband?

I have a few...

- full body waxing done monthly and eyebrows done every three weeks - but I go to someone who runs their business from home, so way cheaper and no taxes and she does a really good job...besides I consider these appointments strangely enough as relaxation time because I am forced to stop running around crazily.
- my gas bill for the car is ridiculous. I know I drive a lot but my 10 yr car is really not consuming the gas as well as it used to. At today's prices I am spending upwards of $300/mth!
I am at a point where I may get a 2005 Mazda but I currently don't have car payment so the choice is hard for me.
- My morning run at Tim Hortons for my hot chocolate. Now this costs me $1.50/day...add this up and we talking about $547.50/yr...so I do my best to bring in Earl grey tea bags to work, but I have only managed to cut back on Tim's to 2-3/wk lately...it's slow progress.

I am sure there is more, but I think I'll stop there for now lol!

You reminded me - I get a Brazilian wax done every 1-2 months, sometimes less, depending on my travel schedule. I do buy the special packages, though, so it's cheaper in the end.

What about buying Tim Horton's hot chocolate mix? They sell the coffee retail, so I figure they must sell the hot chocolate??

Walmart carries a really great retractable clothesline.

That sounds like a great solution that I can do myself.

Thanks a lot!

Glad to know I'm not alone in my diet coke obsession.

I do remember last year when the McD's XLDC was 89 cents. OMG
