I receive the following: Real Simple, Lucky, Vogue, Fitness, Domino, Guideposts (was a gift), various bridal magazines (that I got for free from attending a bridal show), and Redbook. I will gladly cut out Redbook, but the others I love too much right now although I did cut out Lucky for a year. I travel a lot so I take them on the plane with me. I also don't have internet at home so I can't read them that way.
I do pass on the issues I've read to my mom and others once I'm done. My only other addiction is that I keep all the recipes and I haven't thrown out any of the Fitness ones.
I get two Good housekeeping and O for Opera both are free O comes from Coke numbers in caps Good housekeeping came from either kroger or Walgreens free.
I have several (a scrapbooking one, a photography one, a cooking one, and a dog one) but they were all free because it's the only thing I usually ask for for my birthday and Christmas.
I found the coolest website ever last night, its called mygazines.com. You can read current issues of tons of popular magazines FOR FREE! I recently canceled a subscription to my favorite mag because I was sick of paying so much for it, and I was so happy to see I could read the entire thing for free on this site. check it out!
I used to subscribe to 10 magazines, and DH 3. I reduced my magazines down to 2 by just not renewing. I was tired of all the wasted paper, and the expense. I also would buy popular magazines such as glamour, cosmo, star and others. Now if i want to read them I go to the library which is free. I read the magazine and look at it. IF I need something out of it, I can photo copy it or buy the magazine.
I've never subscribed to magazines. When I moved into this house, my agent bought me a year subscription to house and home. I have yet to read any of them, lol. They are however nicely arranged on my coffee table to give the house a "domestic" feel to it, lol.
