We have t-mobile. We have unlimited texting ($20 per phone) cuz we are text-crazy my dh and I.

We have long distance and pay $50/month per phone. I can't recall how many minutes we have per month. Sorry. We like our service though. No complaints.

We are with AT&T, started when it was Verizon, never really had any problems with them, but prefer to work with them online because they are WAY cheaper and have more options than the store fronts.

I don't know if you have Cricket where you live but I think that is generally considered to be the least expensive option around here.

I would encourage you to ask those you call the most what carrier they are on.

We have Verizon (and have had them for the last 3.5 years). Honestly, I think they have the best coverage (at least in this area). I've taken my Verizon cell phone all over the place and had really good luck with coverage. I think they are a little more expensive than some of the other carriers, but reliable service is worth a few extra bucks to me.

We have 4 phones (mine, dh's, a "home" one and one my daughter uses). We have "IN" messaging (pics, flix and txt). We have 700 anytime minutes and unlimited "IN" minutes between Verizon customers. We pay $125/month for all of it. That includes DH's pay as you for the Weather Channel on his phone. We use that a lot when we're at work and the weather is getting bad. I think we are getting a darn good deal actually.

Perhaps it wasn't Verizon's issue but QVC's? I'm just wondering if maybe their computers had a glitch somehow?

I've had a couple issues with my bill in the past and they've always been very nice and accomodating with me when it came to fixing it. For example: we added two lines to our contract a few weeks after signing a new contract. They made a boo-boo and didn't add one of the phones as "IN". Well, we ended up with a huge texting bill because my daughter had been texting with it thinking it was "IN". I called them and they credited that back since it was their mistake. Then they made sure that phone was added. Said it was glitch in the system since we added two phones at the same time. So, I have to say -- I've always found them to be nice to deal with.

In this area, Verizon bought out Cricket. They now own all of Cricket's stores (which are now Verizon stores) and all of the Cricket phones became Verizon's pre-pay phones.
