Just realized something . . .

So after my little spending frenzy on the weekend (CC back UP to $4800 ick) I thought I better sit down and do some serious damage control. So I have been analyzing the budget up and I just realized that IF both of my renters leave (meaning sister and roomate) I will have enough money to JUST cover fixed expenses . . . no money for food or spending, lol. Granted if I cut out some luxuries that I only have now because they were part of the rental agreements (high speed internet/ extra cable chanels/ cleaning lady) then I would be able to eek by each month with pretty much no extra money for savings . . . not a fun way to live!!!

I think that is enough of a shock to kick me in the pants and get me focused!! I have to get this CC paid off!!! Should something happen and I lose my roomates, I would be in a bad situation! I have refocused and recommitted (why oh why does summer always bring out my spending monster!!)

Wish me luck ladies!!!

Maybe b/c it's so hot outside and the malls are nice and cool!!

Glad you got your wake-up call. I know I need a good kick in the pants every so often.

Vacations will do that to you. We're about to go visiting friends and family for a week and I'm getting worried about the money, too. I can picture us going out to eat, movies, etc. and I've only allocated $500 for the week. I can count on $200 going towards gas alone. We've already been invited out to a couple friends' homes so no money those two nights, but it will be very hard to stay on budget.

On the other hand, isn't it nice to know you don't have to have renters? It gives you some freedom you might not have realized was there.
