I would do the newest ones. Like if you have a discover that is a card few places take. But be ware I got on a closing thing about a year ago I closed all the ones

I've recently read that closing accounts, thus effecting your debt to credit line ratio could cost you 100 points.

I guess I read that you should keep your accounts open, unused, to show how much credit you have yet are not using.

The last person I spoke to said the CC number was probably entered wrong

I had something similar happen..someone used my cc to buy $3,000 worth of stuff at a sports store in Chicago.

Another factor in your credit score is the length of your credit history so you will likely want to maintain your oldest account. That establishes your credit history 'start date'.
