At this moment, are you concerned about losing the place you live?

As long as DH doesn't get kicked out of the Army (very unlikely at this point he's been in 16 yrs), we won't lose our house.

I used to be concerned about not being able to pay our rent, and utilities, before.

But another benefit of the Don't Debt group, was that they have said, that you "Take care of yourself first, and your creditors second."

I have come to understand that, as, you keep a roof over your head, and utilties, paid, etc. and if you cannot pay someone, make it be the creditors.

Knowing that you will have a place to live, is a comfort. I used to imagine us out living in a car. I now think that that is unlikely.
Although that could change. My hsuband's job is due to be "phased out in a year of two". We have been through that before and found no jobs. I talked that over with my brother and he said that if things got that bad, we could move in with him.
