1. Are you planning on spending on Halloween? Why? What are you going to buy or not buy this year for Halloween? Why? (I saw Halloween costumes all over the place this weekend, and so it's on my mind...) What is your favorite Halloween costume?
No I'm not spending anything on Halloween as I live in an apartment block so I don't get trick or treaters. Wouldn't have a clue what costumes are even out there these days as I haven't really noticed Halloween for several years.

2. What is the first sign of autumn for you? Have you seen it yet?
I flip this to spring since I'm in NZ. Where I'm living its wind and lots of it. Not yet, but I'm looking forward to it. I'd rather deal with wind than rain.

3. Are you the primary person in charge of the debt reduction adventure? On a scale of 1-low to 10-high, what is the household cooperation level? How do you discuss the debt situation with the members of the household? Is there anyone in the household who is sabotaging the debt reduction efforts?
I'm the only person responsible for my debt reduction. The cooperation from myself can vary depending on how I feel - I seem to self sabotage every so often - its hard because I like reading and get to a point where I need something new to read. Unfortunately I'd read most of the books that the library has that I like several times so I end up having to purchase off the internet or from Borders.

1. Are you planning on spending on Halloween? Why? What are you going to buy or not buy this year for Halloween? Why? (I saw Halloween costumes all over the place this weekend, and so it's on my mind...) What is your favorite Halloween costume?

--Yes. I'm buying the costumes from E-Bay to save on money. I considered making my own Super Why costume for one of my sons, but the costume was cheaper than things I was looking at to make it. I'm not buying any decorations. I used to always buy about 6 really big pots of mums this time of year to plant in the front of my house, but that would be about $90 - $100. That $100 is best served paying down debt, so it's not a justifiable expense this year.

2. What is the first sign of autumn for you? Have you seen it yet?
--The smell of the autumn leaves and when my DD plays soccer on a crisp Saturday morning. No, not yet.

3. Are you the primary person in charge of the debt reduction adventure?
--Yes.

On a scale of 1-low to 10-high, what is the household cooperation level?
--Definitely a 10. My DH is 100% on board and works together with me.

How do you discuss the debt situation with the members of the household?
-- DH & I talk about it every day. He and I both check the checking and CC accounts to check for any unnecessary expenses and to see if there's enough to snowflake.

Is there anyone in the household who is sabotaging the debt reduction efforts?
-- Not anymore. DH & I both used to in our own ways - him by always insisting on eating out. Me by not paying attention to what I bought. Ever since we went to CCCS, we scrutinize literally every single penny that comes out of our account. Since we both monitor what's going on, we're accountable to each other.
