Has anyone else noticed that the weekly circulars for grocery stores and drugstores have A LOT less good deals these days compared to even

Yes, I've noticed this too. Or I've just noticed stores are advertising their PRICES and not necessarily something that's a sale. That doesn't help me but what can I do?
I am looking forward to the holidays when a lot more circulars come out. I love Sunday morning sales papers.
I love meatless entrees, meals.
My father gave me a cook book, 101 Meatless Meals. (I think I got the title slightly off though).
Anyway, the recipes are effective. You are left full, not realizing they are meatless. Love the lack of calories!
More power to you Robyn! I'm inspired. I try to skip meat as often as possible myself.
Speaking of saving money, being frugal, Oprah has an upcoming show based around 'the most thrifty family in the country'. The family of five or so eat for $4.00 a meal, $5.00 monthly cell phone account, 70K in the bank. The family will be giving their advice to another family on how to cut down their expenses during the show.
Today, Dr Phil had families on the brink of financial disaster. He showed how their out of control compulsive spending/deb ting...well...you know the rest.
Being frugal is the big trend. I wonder why grocery stores are not marketing harder? I heard today on an economic show that food prices are going to go even higher shortly. (Of course, cause they know we all need big spreads for the holidays, right? Supply and demand.)
