They finally said the D word on TV

Yes they finally are starting to say Depression and not Recession on TV. I am always watching On the Money on CNN and also the show after it with that guy named Donnie (can not remember his last name)
I didn't see it night before last but it seems Cramer was on as a guest and that is what started this Depression talk. Cramer is saying that the worse has not come yet.

The fact that the Canadian dollar is now worth less than 80 cents against the US$ when it was at par three months ago (and worth over a dollar US not so much longer ago) tells a fairly scary tale as far as I am concerned. The fact that the Canadian dollar is weak is not because of a bad Canadian economy, my understanding it is because a lot of US banks are hoarding cash and not lending it.

It was on the UK news earlier that JCB, a big international company, have had their workers vote through their union to cut hours across the board and loose £50 a week to save jobs from being cut.
Thanks Mary Ann, you're an inspiration to us all.
