Gosh....I'm so mad. Don't even know who to be mad at.

We got ding for $420 in overdraft fees. Some old checks finally cleared. Stuff we have deducted from account that I forgot to write in the register. Blah! Blah! Blah!!

I'm so mad. That's $420 we don't have. My husband gets paid on Friday.

I FEEL your pain! At the beginning of this month, we had 7 overdraft fees! $273 dollars worth of money we definitely didn't have. Of course I found out right in the middle of my preparation for my one year olds 1st birthday party. I was devestated. I called the bank and cried! It turns out that they deduct the largest item first, which for me was 2 months worth of mortgage payments at

That sucks! We had that happen to the tune of $90 last week. It makes it rough when your paycheck is suddenly a lot smaller than you had planned.

I'm so sorry that happened to you. It's so much money that I'd go in person and ask to speak with the manager. If he or she won't reverse most of the charges, I'd tell the manager to close my accounts and then I'd take my business to a credit union.

I hate it when people sit on checks instead of cashing them right away. It makes it tough to balance the check book. My church's food cupboard can take 2 or 3 MONTHS to cash a donation check. I've started sending them money orders (free at my credit union because my mortgage is through them). That way I can just deduct the amount of the money order and not wait for a check to clear, and I get to keep the copy of the money order for my taxes.
