yes, I told them last night they needed to take pictures of everything. I hope that they do. They have a Deputy Sheriff's name on the papers that they got when they got their dogs from the pound. I told them to be sure to get the copy of that eviction notice. I know that they will not be moving back in though...they were contemplating moving before this happened...the neighborhood had just gone downhill...they went this afternoon and met with my landlord (we live in a different county now) and were able to go ahead and sign a lease with him, so now they can begin moving to their new place. I know I wouldn't want to move my stuff twice...considering their stuff is in our old house right now and they were wanting to move anyways. I believe every dark cloud has it's silver lining. I am glad they were able to get that place. I plan on sticking with them and helping them get this crap settled...I'll continue to update as I find out more.

As shocking as this story sounds, I really think they were behind on payments... There probably was 1 or 2 eviction notices and they don't want to admit it.

I have a friend who got herself into ALOT of financial trouble and blamed anyone and everyone who was in her life.

Please keep us posted. I'm very curious to hear how this plays out.

I'm sorry, but I just find it way too hard to believe that they were being evicted by their mortgage company...you'd have to be EXTREMELY delinquent for that to happen and foreclosure comes first...your stuff is not set out until the bank owns the house....and even with that, that doesn't happen for few months after locks are changed. I watched that drama unfold with another neighbor before we moved.

I have to agree that if they knew they were getting kicked out of their house, they would have been crazy to not get their stuff out.I don't know much about eviction or foreclosure, but from what I understand, you get plenty of notice for both and you don't just come home one day and find your stuff on the lawn.

This story is scary on a lot of levels. YES SHERIFF"S Offices make mistakes. And yes the they are not care full when they set people out. I have saw what they do first hand to a woman that lived next to my old house The men opened her first window and they tossed not in a nice way her stuff out into the yard. Most of her dishes were broken,

You know, I've seen that a couple of times....people abandoned their apartments I guess and their stuff was out on the lawn with a big sign telling the world who they belonged to...."PROPERTY OF ........."

I agree with you. They likely were evicted legally. It's not something one would want to admit.
