Does he not understand? DH knows how tight things are for us right now. Things should get better after the beginning of the year, but right now, especially with Christmas coming, we have practically no extra money.

So today we were looking around for an outfit for DS's baptism and we decided to look at Kohl's. As we were approaching Kohl's, DH started talking about the clothes he "needs". I know he could use some clothes, but we have NO MONEY. I told him that and he said, "I don't mean today. Maybe Friday (payday)". No money doesn't just mean no money until payday. No money means things are going to be tight for a while and we're going to have to be frugal and creative just to make sure everything gets paid.

Maybe in the past I've been overly dramatic about having no money because I do the finances and I can be a bit of a worrier, but I've shown him the numbers and I've made it clear that this isn't just a case of being short until payday.

Is your husband's name Raymond or does he have a missing brother somewhere? Man he sounds like my husband

I'm really sorry Amy - it *is* frustrating for sure.

All my best,
