I would like to rearrange our living room without asking anyone to come over and help me.

Those sliders really only work on wood or vinyl floors.

Make sure you use your legs instead of your back. Do you have something really sturdy on castors or wheels that you can ease the tv onto so you could move the stand, then drag the tv on wheels to the stand and put the tv back? I don't know how big this stuff is so that might not work. Just please be careful.

Robyn:

I'd try the disks too. Maybe post a wanted on your local freecycle first. One of the things I now ask myself before bringing anything into my house is, "Can I move this myself?" as my DH has back problems and family doesn't live near us.

Wish I could come over and help you, cyber-friend!
