Does anyone have a specific goal in mind for the end of the year regarding your finances?

As things stand now, I think I'm going to end the year owing $25k plus a few hundred.

I have a few goals.

1. Pay for Xmas gifts in cash (or debit) so nothing goes on the c/c. So far we have done this and we are almost done holiday shopping so this will happen.

2. Put nothing on our c/c. We haven't used c/c's since June so this should be easy to do. Continue to do what we are doing.

3. Work on lowering our interest rates. I hate this part.

At this point I don't want to be any further in debt than we are. If I can manage Thanksgiving & Christmas without adding to it I will be happy.

The last 2 years we managed without adding to the debt over the holidays, but I am not so sure we can this year. Our expenses are higher this year than in the past.
