My little Yorkie has been having medical issues. The vet did testing to rule out Addison's Disease. That set us back $222. However, came back normal. My Yorkie's liver numbers have been coming back high. Therefore, indicating something wrong w/her liver. We had a bile test done last week. That set us back $92.00. Got a phone call from the Vet. Her numbers have skyrocketed. She needs an ultrasound. She may have Liver Shunt. That means blood doesn't circulate through the liver. She has been mopey, eats food then throws up completely. She is just not her perky self anymore. She's only 31/2 years old.
Call the other vet's office, where they did my cat's ultrasound. (My cat passed June 19th from Cancer. She was 15 years old). They gave me an appointment to go tomorrow. The ultrasound cost $150.00 My mom gave me $200 to buy the kids' birthday present with. Their birthday is on November 25th. My husband gets paid on Friday. I will borrow the kids' birthday present money from grandma, then reimburse that money on Friday when my husband gets paid.
If the outcome of this ultrasound is not good, my Yorkie may need surgery. Guess I'll cross that bridge when we come to it. We have nothing in savings and no credit cards.
:(

I am so sorry to hear this.
All my best,

over 40 and tired
I hope your Yorkie gets better soon and that you find the money to cover this extra expense.
