Hi Everyone....
I don't live far from an outlet. I filled out an application at a children's clothing store. I was interviewed on the spot and offered the job.
I will be starting this Sunday from 3pm to 9 pm. I told them I could only work weekends, maybe a couple of days during the week while my kids are in school.
I hope this helps us out a little with our dog's medical bills and our overall financial mess. It will definitely kill our family time. However, I feel it's a sacrafice we must make at this point.
Financially, we can't live like this anymore. I'm just not happy. My husband got paid today. Well, we have $300 left to last us for two weeks. I would still have to buy some groceries. There were bills that just could not be paid. Two of the credit cards were not paid. I hope they don't drop us from the program. This pay was used for our mortgage payment, my husband's bus pass and had to pay overdraft fees, etc. I went to the vet and bought Jordan a bag of Science Diet K/D. It's a low protein diet, which she needs to be on to prevent seizures.
Thanks again everyone. Will keep you updated in our overall situation.
P.S. I was so excited that I got offered the job, I walked out w/someone's coffee. I realized it once I got to my car. I was so embarassed. I went back and apologized to the interviewer. She hadn't notice, but she said thank you. Gosh!!! what must she be thinking. LOL!!!!

Thanks sweetjumps,
When I returned to my car and saw what I have done. I couldn't believe. I felt so stupid.
On the way.....I was just laughing at myself and saying "can't believe I did that..."
Thank you arryl,
I hope it works out for us.
I have a girlfriend/neighbor, who had to get a job at McDonald's. She hates working there. But she says that what she made last month, helped to buy groceries.
Her husband actually stays in NYC all week (working) and comes home on weekends. They have two kids.
Good for you, MYM - congrats!
I would do the same for my dog if I had to - you hang in there and know that you are doing everything that you possibly can.
Take care,
Robyn
