So today I was able to transfer our highest int. rate cc (25%) to a 2.99% card until Dec. 2012! Hooray! It will save us hundreds as we pay things down over the next 2 years (our goal). So many days it's hard to stay positive when you're climbing a mountain. Sometimes it really helps to stop and look around and know you are at least moving in the right direction.
Any small victories this week anyone else wants to share? Every little bit counts.

I needed to replace my one VCR player(its dead) and i got a DVD recorder/VCR with a digital tuner. Not as cheap as the rest BUT I dont need to get a tuner and plan to stay with the small regular old TV instead of switching it to digital. Still do not want to go to cable or satellight, and am hoping between now and then having the tuner, and that will help me decide i still dont need that!!
2 small victories this week. First, I spent $30 and filled my Mom's christmas stocking and got a few small things for myself from the online store my friend works for. The value of the stuff in the store (had I gone in and bought it there) would have been well over $150.00.
Second, I have been saving cash in a jar for my weekend getaway with bf and as of this morning I have $340!!! I am hoping to get this number up to about $500 before we leave next week (I should be close. . .

My small victory is one of self-discipline. I often blow off actually putting my savings amounts that I budget into savings and wind up piddling it away. I've never really gotten into the habit of just putting it away. Anyway, I did my $300 worth of transfers that should've happened in October today. :)
