The way I see it, you just kicked your own butt, so you don't need any help from anyone else.

You have a balanced perspective and you're doing the right things overall. Everyone is going to backslide a bit from time to time. Just keep going, Bex!

No spanking from me

I do think that maybe you should have looked for a used washer maybe and paid cash for it until you had the money for a new one saved up. But sometime that is not a good thing. So charging the washer is not that bad of a thing.

I don't remember how deep you are in debt but if that 5,000 is all there is That you can pay off in about a

I have no problem kicking your butt so bend over lady LOL.

No, I think you are doing fine, just need to focus a little. It is great you have an efund(I wish mine was that high). The efund is for things like a washing machine?? Get it higher. You sound very aware of what is going in and out and what things cost.

Perhaps setting a goal like, i need to get my ef higher and I will have every trip that I take saved for before I go or I don't go? Now that is motivation!

So jealous of the Niagara falls trip! My bf and I are saving for a trip with change on the dresser. I have to make an effort to put money in it because I tend to spend my change but it is getting there. I often think I don't deserve a trip until my debt is paid off but that is not true, or realistic. I believe this applies to everyone.

Oh man, and I just cleaned my boots! LOL!

Thank you all for your help and advice . . . I really appreciate it! I read your posts and it made me sit down and seriously think about a few things. I decided this "all or nothing" approach was killing me, and not working. So I am slowly starting to work through it!

I got paid today, so I paid all my bills. I had $400 left. I put $80 on the CC to cover some of the spending I did (online purchases). I will use $340 for my trip to Boston (about $270 or so US with the exchange). This money is to be used to finish up Christmas shopping. I have my list that I will be bringing with me. I also have $100 put aside for my water bill. Last month it was only $65, so anything extra will go into my emergency fund to try and bring it up.

I know I can do this. This CC bill has been hanging over my head for too long and I need a fire lit under me. I appreciate all your support ladies and I will get this done!
