First of all, we have cut our budget tremendously in the past few months. We have drastically cut back on going out to eat and our entertainment costs which were our biggest problems. But one problem remains and I can't see how to fix it.
Here's the background: My husband works like a fiend! He works at least 50 hours a week and that's just at his full-time job. He has a few side jobs that he does as well. He works odd hours, getting up at 1:30 in the morning and most of the time running on only 6 hours of sleep. I love him to death, he is the hardest working man I know. I have started to consistently make him lunches to stop him from his daily fast food runs. This has helped but the one thing I can't seem to stop...and he desperately needs...is his coffee/energy drinks. He goes to dunkin donuts, gas stations and fast food almost everyday to get coffee or something to keep him awake. He's driving himself into the ground to help this family pay off our debt and get ahead and I realize that he needs caffeine to stay going. I can't tell him to stop this because he'll probably fall asleep at the wheel or something. He does make coffee in the morning most of the time and he has a thermos, but it's not big enough to last through the day. I've contemplated buying energy drinks in bulk from Sam's club because it would probably be cheaper than him going to a gas station everyday, but I cringe at the thought of him exhisting on these awful drinks. I wish there was a better way, but unless he goes to bed at 5 o'clock he's always going to be sleep deprived. Are there any suggestions...any kind of caffeine that's not

Hi, Abigail,
My first reaction is to take your husband to the doctor to have a check up....all the caffiene may be negatively affecting his health, sleep patterns, etc.
I agree...he needs to see a doctor for more than just that reason actually. But I don't think he drinks that much caffeine as his habit is usually one in the morning and one in the afternoon. I'm just thinking that
Normally I wouldnt recommend a pill to a stranger.... but there is a pill available at GNC stores called "Energy Formula" this is a natural blend of ginsing and guarana.

If he starts taking the pills, he must stop the coffee and energy drinks.
