It's winder so I'd put that plastic stuff around that window and put a call into the insurance company to make a claim.

I would be seriously annoyed, as it is about 20 degrees outside, and the snow is flying.

I missed the last fire drill, so here goes on this one....

Our house is 108 years old. A co-worker of DH's replaced all her old windows over the summer and gave us her old ones. I would measure the window while DH when to the store for caulk and other tools. He would replace the glass. I think we could do it for under $30 because we would have to replace the plastic on the entire window bank. I would turn the furnace down to 62 and use every blanket in the house for the fish tanks and us. I would only call the insurance co if DH couldn't do it, but he has replace glass panes before. As long as there isn't damage to the wood, we're ok.

Why would I need to catch you?

I love these! It makes me think.

Oh my God.........you better run!! My bf is in great shape and if he caught you......LOL!

Lets assume we were not home. We need all new windows any way. But.....I might be forced to put less on debt since my emergency fund is in its infancy. Put the window on credit card(at zero now, but I have a loan I am trying to pay down). I have no idea how much a new front window would cost!? If was over my $500 deductable I would claim it, if it wasn't I would suck it up and just replace it. Gotta get that ef higher, working on it!!
