The mortgage company must be desperate!

This is the weirdest thing YET to have happened.
We are always getting letters asking us to refinance.
I just had the Fed Ex person drop off an envelope (ring door bell, leave package, etc...).
I looked at it, it was for DH but the sender address was literally just the next town over so I thought that was really bizarre to start with!

Wow - that is a crazy story.
I got a notice in the mail (US mail) to "skip" a car payment because we are such good customers with our loan. I see no point in doing this - I will eventually have to just make the car payment at the end of our loan cycle so I just shredded it with the rest of my junk mail but I thought THAT was bizarre. You take the cake on this one.
Good to know I'm not the only one that thinks this is *WAY* out there as a way to advertise.

Right now the mortgage companies are trying to secure their mortages into fixed rate terms.
Ah...maybe that's it.

That is truly weird....but today I received a phone call from a local bank, who we have a checking account with and a loc.....they asked me if there was anything they could do for us as far as savings or reducing our payment amount.
I thought WOW, I haven't had that in a really long time.
