Ok, so I went through our budget that we made up and made it a little more realistic. I did discover one problem. My husband gets paid hourly and his monthly income we figured up if he works 36.5 hrs/week at his regular job and flight instructs when he can (can't fly when its bad weather, etc) is $1300. The only thing is that he hasn't been flying very much lately since the weather has been bad and also he didn't get paid for Thanksgiving or the day after. I'm not sure how accurate the total of $1300/mo is. I really don't think he's getting in his hours either. It might be close but I don't know. We seem to always be short and according to my calculations we should have a heck of a lot of money leftover. We'll see how much his next check is this coming week... Here is my new updated budget:

Cable $60/mo (I would cut this but we don't really do much of anything and this about our only source of entertainment)

Electric $80/mo

Rent $450/mo

Car Insurance $91.12/mo

Groceries $450/mo

Gas Money $240/mo

Blow Money $40/mo

Loan Payment $105.50 (our cut-inlaws pay other half)

Victorias Secret $30/mo

Capitol One $14/mo

Capitol One #2 $15/mo

Chase $295/mo

Chase $103/mo

MBA $138 (a little higher this month-paid late)

Paypal $26/mo

Eating Out $50/mo

Lunches Out $50/mo

Cell Phone $60/mo ( I would cut this also but we did away with our landline so I need it)

Total: $1771.62

Monthly Income: $2846 (With hubby's 1300/mo income)

Leftover Amount:$1075-I have no idea where all of this money is!

HI there!

When I added up your numbers, I got $2237.62...maybe there isn't quite as much left over as you think!

How many are you feeding?

You need to run your numbers again.

Ok I'm an idiot :) I went back through everything and the new amount is $2388.62 with $457 leftover each month. Sorry about that!
