Hey Prada,
Yes, vent. I do it here all the time! I am really hoping I don't have to take money out of my personal credit line to get me to spring for my business. It is really stressing me out. I will cry if I have to do this, I have done so well. But sales are so bad right now!! And yes, I am cranky in general right now. People do not understand.............but we do. Chin up!
Thanks, ladies. You'd think I was PMS'ing. Today, I'm in a much better mood. It just gets to me sometimes the things that are going on around here at my job. I don't understand how ppl can be so rude, petty, and immature.
Last night was kind of scary. I've noticed that men can be really aggressive on the road, and they are starting to get worse. I've had several similar situations happen to me. This person followed me and was behind me b/c I think they got mad that I wasn't able to let them over when they started to get off the wrong exit then wanted to get back to the lane next to them in front of me. I slowed down to let them, but they didn't move so I started to go, then they started to go, so I went around them and got back in front. The person behind me refused to let them get in front of them. I really was going to let them but they hesitated too long and it was unclear what they were doing. So, I go about my business and a little while later this car is on my tail, and I'm like what's your problem. I just figured it was someone driving too closely b/c they are dumb. Then they get

Just now reading both your messages and have to agree on both counts: one, yes, indeed, when people at work are petty it's more than just annoying. I, too, take it home with me and wonder about it, and then don't want to go back to work the next day. Just looking for another job makes me feel better! Second: I have also noticed people more short-tempered than ever, less thoughtful, and basically more barbaric in their relations with others. I'm afraid we're in for even more of this behavior as people get scared on a primal level (if people begin to lose their homes, jobs, a consistent source of food and shelter...).
I'm in education and am seeing heightened agression on a daily basis. I do what I can to control my own surroundings, stay away from society at large (i.e.: malls!!), and have a nice glass of red wine at the end of the day.
Hope things are looking up for you.
Dee
I can definitely relate on both counts....work stuff is so frustrating. Especially with lots of
