This is obviously important to you. He will get over it. Show him the balances of the CCs going down and that you are still going and it is all paid for. He will be proud of you. Don't miss this wedding.......it has resentment written all over it. Good Luck.
Just wanted to send cyber hugs. You have some time to figure this out, and you will. I hope your DH sees that you are working hard to ensure that this does not increase your debt load. Maybe when he thinks about the situation and sees how upset you are, he will change his thinking.
Big hugs! I know you are working hard and I'm sure it's frustrating. I have to say I deeply regret missing my childhood best friend's wedding very much so I'm glad you are planning on going anyway. I hope he'll settle down and come around.
I agree with the others-don't miss this you'll regret it. He might be upset now but he needs to realize how important this is to you. It's not like you are taking this trip just b/c. There is a perfectlly valid reason and honestly if you have the cash to pay for it I don't see the problem. Yes, I know you have cc debt but sometimes you need to enjoy yourself and sharing your friends wedding with her is something that you should def. not miss. Go and have fun your hubby will have to get over it :)
All my best,
Danni
If I were you. I would go to him and say "Honey I really want you to go with me and share in my fun.
Paying down/off debt is important,
I'm sorry that your dh is not being very understanding about the wedding.
WAY to go though for taking a second job to pay for it.
Chris

I had to miss my BFF's wedding because I was 8 months pregnant with #2.
Sending you hugs!
