That is so sad. I worry every day about my husband coming home and telling me he has been layed off. He works for a family owned Religious Jewelry Business, and jewelry is the last thing people are going to buy in a time like this. I am a xray/mammography tech so I do have some job security. And it breaks my heart everyday to hear of people just losing their jobs without any notice what so ever. I wish everyone in your town luck and best wishes.

Oh (((Hugs)))!

My job is pretty secure (federal government) but were are in the middle of a month long transit strike. I know of so many people who have lost jobs because they can't make it into work and can't afford to pay cabs each way! I am lucky that I live close enough that it isn't a concern but still its scary! Imagine in this economic climate losing a job cause you can't get there???
