It's easy to become troubled by all of the job losses and the cost of everything going up lately.

this made me start to cry thinking about my baby girl

1. im so thankful that this saturday we are having my daughters first birthday party when this time last year we were praying we would see her turn 1 month old

2. SO SO SO thankful my fiance has a stable job and we dont have to worry about if our bills will get paid. we are so blessed during these hard times to have that and we talk about it every day

3. thankful we have a working vehicle. this always seems to be an issue for us with these used cars

- I am grateful that DH and I can be together (there have been many years in our marriage when we've stayed at different states or even different continents)

- I am thankful that I have such a loving and understanding man beside me who, although does not understand finances a great deal, is making a huge effort and enabling me to take charge of money matters

- I have a family that although has major issues and does not get along, has pulled together in times of need

- I have my faith

* After five years of trying to have a child together, DH and I are expecting our first little one in July!

* As of today, my husband is still employed (not quite full-time hours, but close enough!)

* As of today, with that job, we still have health insurance!

* My job shows NO SIGNS of letting me go/laying me off in the near future!

* In fact, I recently got a 50 cent/hour raise!

* School just started up again for me, and I am only 3 semesters away from a college degree!

* There is money in the bank, and bills are currently up-to-date.

What a nice post. :-)

My turn!

1. I'm grateful that I am going on an ADULT only vacation in April.

2. I'm grateful I found a second job to pay for my vacation in CASH and that we don't have to pinch pennies more than normal to fund this trip.

3. I'm grateful that my husband is the best dad and man God could have thrown into my life.

4. (one more) I'm grateful my kids make me laugh every day. I'm grateful I'm their mom.

I'm very, very thankful that even though i am working a job I do not necessarily love, I have a few friends there who consistently make me laugh until I cry...makes the nights go faster.

Also, that our finances are under control,

and if my dang ticker works, thankful for that too...

It's easy to become troubled by all of the job losses and the cost of everything going up lately. What are 3 good things going on in your life that you can think of right now?

1 - I have a beautiful new grand daughter (Dec 4)

2 - I have nieces and nephews who love me even if I'm in debt up to my eyeballs

3 - we have a roof over our heads and food in the cupboard
