We all got one. We know it. You can't hide from it.

What's your vice? Have you accepted being able to eliminate it from your budget or do you let yourself indulge?

I'll be honest - my vice? Diet coke from McDonalds. Don't know what it is. The cup, fountain syrup, straw combo....DELISH! I can have a diet coke from the can but its just not the same.

Shoes. I love shoes. I've spent at least $1,000 on shoes in the last year. I should probably be embarrassed. They are all good quality leather shoes and a new pair of runners. The only thing in my defense is that I have really bad bunions that cause me a lot of pain...so rotating my shoes all the time helps a bit

My vices are:
1. Coke. It's so yummy and so bad for me! I don't buy it much and we don't keep it in the house, so I don't spend a lot. But it's still a vice because I want to not ever buy it.

2. Stamps. I have been making cards lately, and I could spend thousands on stamps. I did buy one last week but it only cost $5.00. I think I am going to set a goal for myself, and when I reach it I will allow myself to spend some money on some.

Oh wow good question!

I have a couple, first being the hot chocolate from Tim Hortons'...and no their canned version does not taste the same as when I buy it ;)

Also, I'm really into taking care of my skin and I only use Biotherm products which cost money, but I save at least 50% off the retail prices when buying them when the companies has warehouse sales 2x a year.

My DD bought DH a hot chocolate maker for Christmas that comes with a small hand mixer/frother. Maybe that's what you need to make the TH can version taste more like the one you buy. She bought it at Canadian Tire for about $10.

and in reading over others I realized one other vice that I have, when I find a shirt or jeans that I like and they fit well I tend to buy 2-5 of them in different colours. I have even done that with shoes a few times.

My biggest vice is probably Starbucks. I've cut WAY back on this. I only go once or twice a month now as opposed to 2-3 times a week.

I also love going out to eat, but DH & I have done a really good job at cutting this out.

My only vice at the moment is wine. I have some every day while dinner is cooking. DH usually has some with me, so we'll go through a bottle every other day. Even the cheaper stuff adds up quickly! A previous vice was decorating magazines, but I've been able to resist them lately.
