to start. So I have all of my CC's situated, I know what is what. As for my other bills go, I will sometimes put off paying them, so now I have overdue balances on all of my household bills. My water bill, property tax, electric and gas bills. I just don't know where to start. I wish I could take a month off from everything and figure it all out. Anyone have any ideas?

I hope I am reading your posting correctly You paid up your credit cards but you left your household bills go. Not a good thing to do really.

I think I know what you mean. I am pretty new here and still trying to figure out my budget. I too make sure CC's are paid on time all of the time. With the household bills there is some "wiggle room" to pay late or a partial payment without getting socked with a late fee. I don't let the household bills go more than 2 weeks past the due date. I've recently gotten to the point that the only bill I keep shuffling around is my cable bill. Good luck,

Melissa

Just remember as the cards are paid down so will the payments go down giving you more money for the other things
