Wait until tomorrow morning to check again...sometimes, these things get straightened out by the processors, and that is a night shift thing.
My neighbor used to work in a bank and she told me that's the biggest money maker they have, processing checks before deposits... more OD's that way.
You don't need a bank account with Paypal. I have mine connected to a charge card and it work fine that way
I would go while you are still mad and change it to a charge card with a low limit on it.

So sorry to hear this! I know I get frustrated when I do things that cost me money. No matter how small, it still hurts knowing that money could have been spend elsewhere.
I agree with PP's. Go into the bank and ask if they will reduce the second charge. If this is the first time you have done this, I can't see them having a problem with it!
Good luck!

You know it was the 1 and only NSF issue I had in my checking account once that pushed me totally over the edge!

I think the idea of a CC with paypal is a good one, for some.
Bottom line here folks is most of us have a CC and debt problem.
Sorry this mess happened.

I tried and tried yesterday to get the two $30.00 charges removed - no luck.
As a veteran of more than my share of overdraft charges in the past, you have my sympathies!
As for Paypal, when you pay with a bank account the payment has to clear. That process takes 2-3 business days in most cases. If you use an existing Paypal balance, the payment to the seller is instant (the funds are already there and verified) but otherwise it's like writing a check (even if drawn from savings). Because the payment could be returned for NSF, Paypal notifies the seller first of the payment and then of the fact that it has cleared.
I can't believe the shoes weren't the right size! (((Hugs!)))
