Well, its almost that time of year again . . . Valentines day! Any ideas what you are doing for your SO's? I for one am at a loss.

This is my first Valentines day with my BF. We have been together about 6 months. He is moving in May 1. We are going to be in NYC up until the 13th. To be honest, I'm not even sure if he is planning on doing anything at all (since we will have just come back from vacation). I want to do something for him as he has been so good to me lately (driving me everywhere due to bus strike, taking the elderly lady I volunteer to her appointments

Haven't decided for this year yet.

Last year went out for Pizza ($10.00 for a large at local place), so we felt like we went "out." We don't get out much with 3 kids-hahaha so it seemed special for us being on the budget and all...

My DD is a Daisy Girl Scout. On Valentine's Day, Girl Scouts are having a "Me and My Guy Dance". My husband and daughter are going to a Valentine's Dance. It's only girl scouts w/their male escorts. They are having all kinds of activities. It only cost $14.00 for both of them. It's from 10am-1pm.

I'm thinking about having a Mommy and Son thing. I'm planning on taking my DS out to McDonald's breakfast. We never get to do that. And do whatever he wants while my DD and husband are at their dance.

No major plans right now. Maybe dinner. V-day is a Sat this year so I figure restaurants will be nuts. Might just opt to stay in that night. :)

Spooky... BF and I have also been together about 6 months and are planning a summer move-in (me to his house).

We haven't discussed it yet, but DH has this rewards card from work and it's got a balance of $255 but he's very stingy with it.

Call and make a reservation, that's what I do when we go to Outback. We live about 45 minutes to an hour away. So when we get there, we wait maybe 10 to 15 minutes at the bar. We do get a lot of dirty looks from the people having to wait outside, when they call our name before theirs.

You all have some great ideas! I may have solved my problem!!

BF likes poker. Someone is selling a poker table on used.com. From what I can tell it looks almost new. The new version would cost $400 but this one is selling for $50 ( a move). I caved and asked BF whether he would want it or not. He said he would love one! This is a far cheaper option then the spa day (I have $50 already in my gift fund so it wouldn't cost anything extra!!!)

The only thing is that he now knows what he is getting, but he was really excited about the idea of having it for superbowl sunday (not sure why . . .)

So I can get him that, and then when Valentines day comes, maybe make him a bunch of homemade coupons so he has something . . .

Hey girl!

I am on board with the coupon idea. I told Bf about it and he laughed and said it was really awesome! I have to work that night but a dinner(he cooks lol) and bath for 2 sounds nice.
