Any ideas in general?
How about for cheap homemade pizza?

Here is a dip I made for my daughters school:

Queso

Equal parts:
Velveeta
Cream Cheese
Salsa

Melt in Crockpot, serve with chips

Not the absolute cheapest, but if you buy store brands for ingredients, not too bad.

Thanks!

One of our staples is taco dip.

You need one package of cream cheese

1 package of taco seasoning

1 jar of salsa (these are the essentials)

The very basic recipe is to mix the taco seasoning with the cream cheese and layer on the bottom of a pan. Then layer salsa over top of it and serve with nacho chips.

My add ons are:

sour cream (I mix a little bit with the cream cheese)

cheese (I grate a little bit on top)

Lettuce (grate a bit on top)

Onions/peppers/tomatoes/ olives etc

I find this one pretty easy/cheap because I have most of the ingredients on hand and just have to pick up the cream cheese....

Herb Spread ~
2 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese, softened
1 cup (2 sticks) butter or margarine, softened

1 clove garlic, crushed (or garlic powder works too)
1 tsp. dried oregano
1/4 tsp. each of dried basil, dill weed, marjoram, thyme, pepper
