Halfway to my goal!

I'm so happy. Just checked my banking online and my second job paycheck was $187. I transferred $190 into savings. I am working happily towards the goal of our vacation in Boston in April. My old childhood friend is getting married and I wouldn't miss it for the world.

Expenses:

Hotel $500

Rental car $150

We will also need spending money (for dinner at least one night) but that won't be much. Right now I have $340 saved up. We have money in our savings but I don't wish to pull from our efund for this trip. I am so proud of us!

Congrats!! You've worked so hard for this! Its going to feel so great having the whole thing paid for in cash!

I am thisclose to being at the halfway point for my efund goal and the fact that I can't scrape together $10 measly dollars to get it to $500 is driving me nuts (although I may have solved my own problem - BF bought a $20 gas card from me so that I have $20 cash to get through till Wednesday .

I saw that you are coming to Boston and are going to pay for a rental. Boston has subways and buses where you could prob. get away with not having to rent a car to save you some money. Just a thought. Liz
