February financial goals: Add yours!

I find it's so easy to stay focused in January, but what about a monthly reassessment of where you are and where you're heading?

My goals for February:

-$1000 to my debt, putting us at $8500 due.
-Add $100 to my efund, which is double what I've been doing.

The only way I can achieve this is through some hard work, budgeting, and selling some stuff on eBay or Amazon. I think "putting it all out there" for everyone to see will help.

Great post - we should do it monthly.

Ok, my Feb goals are:

- Put another $200 (or more depending on second job availability) to my vacation fund for our April trip to Boston

- Set up appointment to do our taxes - save money to pay the tax guy (why does getting taxes done cost so much?)

- Work on needless spending. I get "bored" at home after days w/my kids (I work part time) and I end up taking them to the store for this and that's. Those add up so I am trying to work on that.

Goal for February would be to actually get our taxes done this month instead of waiting until April 30th like we usually do. It's not like we ever owe money we always get a refund.

February goals:

Send $300 extra to mortgage, put additional $800 in savings, get taxes done...still waiting on DH's 1099, we should get a refund of about $800.

Happy February to everyone & Happy Valentines Day!

Good post

My goals are

1) Not to use the CC's at all (other then the autopays!!!)

2) Get efund to $550 (I am not aiming high on this because Feb is an expensive month for me)

3)Keep at least $5 from each weeks spending money to use toward bigger ticket items!

My goals for February are.

Well I want to finish my curtains for the living room, dinning room and kitchen combo. by sometime next week.

I am going to try to up my debt repayment to 550.00 a month.

I am adding to my saving by 300.00 a month. Don't know if I can keep that up because a tree went down at the old house that will need to be removed.

That is about all for the month.

My goals for the month:

1. Continue working on my budget! I am going to track spending for 2 months, so because Feb. is a short month it won't take too long.

2. Continue to put $25.00 into efund weekly.

3. Getting taxes done on Tuesday, so depending what we get for a refund, I am going to choose which debts to pay off.

4. Continue to cut down on useless spending!!!!

My goal for February would be no credit card use and a $350 minimum in snowflakes.

I'd also shoot for filing my taxes before the end of February if the remainder of the paperwork is received.
