February financial goals: Add yours!

I find it's so easy to stay focused in January, but what about a monthly reassessment of where you are and where you're heading?

My goals for February:

-$1000 to my debt, putting us at $8500 due.
-Add $100 to my efund, which is double what I've been doing.

The only way I can achieve this is through some hard work, budgeting, and selling some stuff on eBay or Amazon. I think "putting it all out there" for everyone to see will help.

Excellent post! I did good in January and want to keep the momentum going.

1. Got BEF funded, but I want to add $100 to it in Feb, as our cars are a bit older.
2. NO CCs at all, using the envelope system and all cash program - not even a debit card. I really see the value in this program now and how debit cards messed up my entire budget at the grocery store in the past.
3. Pay off Meijer's (Kohls ladies: I paid Kohls last month after I saw Mr. Kohls mansion in Lauderdale, he has enough our money, let me tell you!)
4. Enjoy our vacation with the kids on a completely cash basis (flights, and everything else is paid for. Kids have saved their allowance money for their purchases.)

We are 4 months pregnant, and DH is in danger of getting laid off any day now. Sooo.... our current goals are to spend as little "extra" as possible, keep bills current as long as we can, and prepare for the baby!

I work in a natural grocery store, and can get 10% off when I order things by the case. (I get an additional 10% off ANYTHING I buy there, too). Sooo... we have baby wipes on sale this month, and I am going to order 2 cases of wipes to get the SALE PRICE, the 10% case discount, and my 10% employee discount. :-)

I am also going to order some other items by the case this month so we are stocked up on food for a decent price.

To reduce my grocery budget by $50 this month.

To re-work my budget categories and come up with a more accurate spending plan.

Dh and I would love to pay down 1K towards recent CC debt.

I would like to pay off my CC debt of 1K completely.

I don't want to add to my personal debt this month.

Great thread, let's see if I can post without my computer freezing up again.

So for February, these are my goals:

* EF just back up to $1000, goal - keep it at $1000

* DH paying off his student loan of $584.44, one less monthly bill for me to pay

To strictly stick to my budget! This month, as it is so short, doesn't have much room for error. I have everything I need to spend this month set up on Quicken, and I'm going to religiously stick to it! If I do...I should have an extra 300 dollars! Maybe more depending on our checks which are always changing. But if I keep on spending money on going out to eat and buying stupid things...I won't have any extra money!

I am so impressed with all of these goals ladies! I posted mine earlier and was reading through all these goals and it really motivated me so I'm adding

- Get my paperwork in order so that when I get all my tax stuff in I can file right away!

I also confess I used my CC this month to buy BF's valentines day gift. I was able to
