About a month or so ago there was a poster that told about this site called Credit Karma. I checked it out and according to Carmen if it had a lock and https on it It was ok. So I put in our information. I can't remember what my score came up something like 750 or around that.
Raymond's came up at 770.
Well they are suppose to send you

That IS encouraging news!
Here is my situation, and I would love your sage advice.
I don't know a lot I don't have a college education like a lot on the board. I am just cheap. What little money we do have I don't like to waste on interest rates or anything else. I always felt as a housewife it was my duty to take what my husband earned and make every dollar count for 2.00.
I will just tell you what I have been doing.
Maryann:
Since I saw that you signed up for credit karma, I did too. You do a lot more research than I do. If you trust them, so do I. Now I'm anxious to see my credit rating go up!
Have a great day,
Dee
Thanks Mary Ann!
I guess I am a believer in the Dave Ramsey plan and I don't want to pay anyone any more interest than I have to.
A couple things before any ideas - is your BEF fully funded?
What are you going to buy on credit anymore that you would even care about your credit score?
Dave would probably say take out the CD and pay off even 0% cards, as they are still debt. But if your company could have a layoff or anything, I would hold tight to the CDs as emergency funds.
I moved some around to an National City 0% card that is due November 30. I have not seen the transfer even happen yet, so I will check tomorrow. My goal is to work hard to get that paid by November 20 and no later.
Yes you made sence totally.
All you can do is to do the best you can and watch out for the pot holes.
That is what I do.
