OT: New eating habits may save me money!

Well, as some of you may have noted, my stupid little weight loss ticker has not budged an inch. I finally gave in and asked my BF for help (ugh). He works at a nutrition store doing diet plans for clients, and he is also a triathlon coach. Anyways, he put together a (bland, boring) diet for me to follow for a week (just to see how I do!). I bought the stuff for my crappy, bland boring diet, and the good news is, its cheap! With the exception of some cottage cheese, almonds and a few veggies, I have everything I need and will have enough to last through the week.
So I now have two reasons to stick to my crappy bland, boring diet . . . to get back into my pants (two of which I can't do up) and to save money!
Day 1 - I can do this!!

Thanks for the response!
To be honest, its a REALLY boring diet where I eat every 3 hours.
Breakfast is oatmeal, a protein drink and as much tea as I want!!! (caffeine addict here!!)
My first snack is cottage cheese and an apple
Lunch is a pita with a whole can of tuna, mustard, lettuce and as many veggies as I want (not including carrots or corn)
My afternoon snack is more protein and almonds
Dinner is 3 oz of chicken, a cup of rice and as many veggies as I want (not including carrots or corn)
After workout snack is (you guessed it) protein!!
Its very high protein (I am trying to build muscle as well as lose fat) and the protein drinks help because there are so many flavours that it

See, now I think that is yummy. ;) Though I would certainly include carrots, corn, and fresh fruit. And crackers once or twice a day. That plan is short on satisfying "crunch."
The good news is, you will feel much fuller than if you were snacking on what you probably usually snack on. And you have your boyfriend to encourage you!
