I'm so excited. I posted here a while ago that I was selling stuff on craigslist and I had a buyer. Well that buyer never showed :(

Today I sold the clothes I had listed!!! I am so excited! I made $100 out of it! I am going to use that money for spending money for NYC!!! I didn't have all that much saved and was stressing about it, but now I have $220 (which will be about $180 American after the exchange!) It doesn't sound like much, but all I need out of it is 3 lunches and three dinners (breakfast is provided). BF and I agreed to go pizza/deli for food so as not to spend too much. We have also saved $45 US for tolls, gas and subway tickets! There is someone interested in some other stuff so I may get more out of it!

Yay!

Make sure to eat a big breakfast then you won't need that big of a lunch. We also like to buy a few things and keep in a cooler(or little fridge if there is one) in our room so we aren't tempted to go out for snacks.

Congrats, Bex! I've sold many things on Craigslist -- from video games to my car!

Enjoy your trip. And I agree with the other poster -- try eating pancakes or other filling things for breakfast and then you won't want to eat much for lunch.

We did a car on Craigslist too. I told my husband to put it on for $400 more than he thought he could get. The lady came, and paid the full amount, no questions.

Good job to Bex for the sale!
