Happy Friday! What expenses / plans does everyone forsee happening this weekend?
We are having a b-day party for my dd who is going to be TWO! Yippie. We are having a low key party with a few guests - close family and my dd's Godparents. We are just having chips and ice cream cake and cupcakes. I have to buy the ice cream cake tomorrow - that'll be about $22. Oh, and I'm making punch but I already bought the ingredients for that.
Sunday we are having my DD's pictures taken at Sears. It usually will cost us about $100. I want to toss my son who is 5 in the pics for one of them together. My mom is going to give my DD money for her b-day and I was going to use that money for her pics.
We might wander the mall after we do my dd's pics and so we might end up having lunch there. It's not planned but I forsee it happening. I work my second job Sun night so otherwise - that's it for us this weekend.

Weekend expenses should be good! I spent $10 for a movie ticket last night (ugh, painful really) but it was

Our weekend expenses would be --
Sunday, $0 as we are just staying around the house.
Monday, $550 for groceries for the next 4-6 weeks -- mother hubbard's cuboards are way too bare and we need to replenish our choices since we are working hard to eat meals at home
$230 for pellets for our pellet stove for the next 5 weeks -- will last longer if we keep having nice weather.
And I haven't decided yet if we will spend $22 for dinner at our fav' place to grab a meal after we've gone to the city to run errands -- or if we'll save the money and just dig up something at home (after all, we're buying all kinds of groceries!)
That should cover all we will be spending for our weekend.

Good thread, beepsmomx2!
For me it was $50 at the vet today (planned for and paid in cash) plus a $40 trip to the grocery store.
we spent $160 today. it sounds like alot but it was kind of budgeted out of our tax refund for a shopping trip for things we "need" plus in reality we came out $50 in the good because i had budgeted $100 for our tires, but the guy at the shop said our front two looked new so we only
Wow, sounds like you got some bargains!!! Sometimes there are just some things you need to get.
Nothing much spent here. Gave kids their allowance on Friday, they get $20 each, then I give them $20 for gas for their car every week.
We did go to church, so that was budgeted and a quick stop at CVS for some nail polish remover and odds and ends - only $11, but that comes out of my grocery budget, which should be nothing much this week as DH did the big Costco shopping last week for the month. Hope to spend only $20 more this week on groceries, $20 on gas, and pocket the rest as extra for our vacation.
SUNNY warm weather in just 6 days!!!

Okay, this is what I bought/spent this weekend. I noticed I had a major spending bug for some reason and really attempted to curb it. Everything I spent was in our budget.
Supervision/Counseling for work - $40
Gasoline - $10
Car Wash - $7 (yeah, I know....I'm not a real car person, but dh asked me to wash it last weekend and it really made our car sparkle...:)
We got the kids a 10 year old car, and they use that to get to school.
First off, Dogs and Allergies, I got them... I have a Shih Tzu, They are known to be hypo-allergetic because they dont shed or have much dander. Worth a trail to see!
Lets see...
I spent 14.91 at safeway today on odd's I needed, lettuce, juice, bread and a few other things.
I spent 20 on gas for the car. Thats all I spend bi weekly on the gas.
I needed new shoes after my sketchers decided too leak.... Freaking $80 shoes that lasted me 4 months... URGH... So I have been eyeing out some Pumas for a while and budgeted 80(assuming I could get them on sale if not they are 120)
