Well, like others on this board, I got my notifications today from my Capital One that they are raising rates on all my cards up to 29%.

Capital One seems to be doing this to just about all account holders.

I didn't realize Capital One let you do unlimited payments; I have been doing them every week and now know I can do them practically daily.

Thanks, mckeekitty!

That is why I just sent the letter rejecting the interest increase with Juniper (it is a Carnival Sea Miles card).

Discover pulled an insane rate hike on us too - prime + 24.99%. We've had our Discover account for over 10 years and have never once been late on a payment to them. Our balance was only about $1500, but we transferred it to another card using a 0% transfer offer. I'm not closing the account yet because I don't want to mess up my credit rating, but they're sure as heck not getting my business.
