ITA Michelle . . . eating healthy IS expensive. I am back on my meal plan (I went off for NYC) and had to go out and buy some stuff. Chicken ain't cheap, lol. Neither is cottage cheese!!! The only saving grace I have is that its just me following it so I don't have to worry about what others want (ie family). I couldn't imagine doing this having to take other people's tastes into consideration!!!

I completely agree, Michelle.

We are on our third month of eating healthy and it is much more expensive than how we used to eat.

The frozen ones also tend to be much better for you.

I totally agree that it is unfair! Eating healthier should not cost more than eating processed foods. I recently started a healthier plan of eating that cuts out almost all processed foods and I have seen my grocery bill jump like no tomorrow.

I am working out something that will hopefully be middle of the road so that everything does not have to be completely organic. I believe in organic for health reasons as well as enviromental reasons but man I can't do it all if it means going broke in the process!

Have you checked any of the articles or books that recommend which organic products are the best ones to get.

Some types of food have much higher risk of problems from pesticides, etc.
