I've seen so many posts in the last few weeks where someone has mentioned a daily fixation and I'm just wondering how many of you out there do this. I'm guilty! It's fun for me. It's a great way to keep my eye on the ball, so to speak, and my debt numbers are plummeting (relative to where they'd be without flaking) so it is extremely inspiring to take a look. And when I've had a rough day, it's wonderful to see the big picture at a glance.

I don't spend a whole lot of time looking, but I do update my numbers when my statements come in and record a flake here and there, and overall I'm guaranteed a daily peek. I think it's funny that there are so many of us out there!

It's probably not a healthy habit but I check my bank balance online every day and check my credit card accounts and my spreadsheet at least 1-2 times a week......

Honestly I think it is more out of habit than need to check in on things that often. I do find that I am checking more often when I am spending more often....

Yes, I check every day. Even if I am not working, I try to find a way to check(we have incredibly slow internet at home) It helps me plot and scheme LOL! Its probably not healthy. I just can't wait until it is for not paying down debt but for saving for something instead!!

I've been checking my account on mint.com every day. For one thing, I can see what's been taken out of the account and when; but, I also like tracking my budget that way. It also shows me exactly what I owe on the credit cards and my net worth. It's quite addictive!
