What did I do??

So somehow my bank account is overdrafted by $95.00! I can't believe I did that. I totally forgot about my student loan payment that comes out of my account automatically and then I had signed up for some free trial thing and forgot to cancel it so I was charged for that! I am soooooo MAD at myself for letting this happen! So now I have to wait for the bank to hit me with their fees. Can't wait!
I did call the place with the free trial and they are going to reimburse me the money, but still the damage is done. I sometimes feel like I am spiraling downward.

Ugh!

I avoid those "free" trials that require a credit card.

I know how you feel...a couple of weeks ago I ended up paying 2 nonsufficient fund fees of $30.00 each...mine was caused by me paying for something with paypal and I thought that I had clicked for it to come off my credit card...but it came out of my checking account...it was my mistake and I got the money to the bank that A.M. that I discovered the mistake...and even though I had NEVER had this happen before..they said that the charge occured before the deposit and charged me the $30.00...I was mad about that one but it was my fault ... the 2nd one was the next day and something came out that morning before the deposit showed....so that was $30.00 more.

Hugs to you. It happens. Just make an effort in the future to not do those free trails. They are rarely worth it for what you get for "free."

Also, if you have automatic deductions then you need to post that deduction cycle on EVERY calendar you have. On your work calendar, home calendar, purse calendar. Even if you just put CAR or something to remind you the deduction is coming. Do it now for the whole 2009 year and you will be done and it will take less than 5 mins.

Now, head down to the newport creamery and get you and me an Awful Awful. :) That will cheer us up!

Oh I hate when we get "caught" in things like this. I too just recently went over the limit on one of my CC and had to pay a $35.00 fee. The kicker is that I had the money in my checking account too.....it was jsut one of those "space cadet moments for me".

This has happened to the best of us!!! It is so hard sometimes when you have so little to work with! I currently have 100 dollars to my name and I could easily bounce something. It's like getting kicked when you're down!

Has your husband ever had an awful awful? He won't think you are crazy after he tries one! Too bad it's not anything you can take back with you after your vacation.
