I think you are all making wise decisions re: the efund. Once the economy starts its turn around and things get better, you can always dump the efund money back to the debt. In the meantime, if something happens, you have it there!

Little - I can identify with feeling under the weather, be sure to get the rest your body is asking for. We have had someone sick every day this week, and I feel tired as well. I'm just spending the day cleaning the house, stripping beds so everyone has clean virus-free sheets and doing tons of laundry (8 loads done so far, about 9 to go.)
You decision to concentrate on the EFund is something I am doing this time that I never did before. It really did help when the kids' car had issues a couple weeks ago, as I not only had the cash, but got a discount for using cash. I just concentrated on the Efund until I got to $500, then did some EFund and some debt repayment. I will keep putting $100 a month into the Efund even while paying down debt. My goal is to turn the EFund into a saving for "wants" fun when debt is paid off.

It is a good choice. But let yourself be happy when you reach your efund goal. Then tackle the debt again. You can do this!!
