Dh has been on vacation and tomorrow is his last day off. I wanted to do a ton of fun stuff this week, but it's been hard with little to no money. Earlier this week I reserved a library pass to the New England Aquarium in Boston for tomorrow, Tuesday. I wasn't sure if we could pull it off after everything that happened to our car, but I've been doing some research this morning and it looks like we can park and ride the T for 15 dollars. The all-day parking is only 7 dollars and the T is free for all the kids, so only 8 dollars for me and DH to ride back and forth.
Our library passes get us into the aquarium for 8 dollars each, the baby is free. That is amazing! This is a savings of $71.70! I'm super excited about this and I'm definitely never going to pay full price for a museum again! We are going to pack a lunch and all I need to do is buy a few snacks and some drinks, which will cost me about 15 dollars at the grocery store and I'll still have snacks left over for lunches this week. It costs about half a tank to drive to Boston and back so that is about 9 dollars, but we already filled up a few days ago so I won't even need to pay for gas tomorrow.
Our entire trip will cost: $71 dollars or less. I saved my piano money from today and tomorrow and I have exactly enough cash for us to go. My check from church is coming in at the end of this week and DH is getting paid on Thursday so we will have enough to keep the bills at bay until our tax refund comes in next week.
Yay!

That's awesome Abbie.
