If your debt forced you to live with a family member (parents, sibling, etc.) could you?

DH and I did stay with my mom for about three years. We finally bought a house and moved out, but we're reversing things. When we build our new house in the next couple of years, we're adding a guest home to the property for my mom to live in. She won't have a house payment, utilities, or (by then) debt. I hope, for the first time in her life, money won't be an issue for her. For that, it's well worth it to live with family! We're just fortunate that she'll have her own living space or we'd all go nuts. =c)

Already do! My sister lives with me while she is finishing school. Sadly she has had some health issues which means that she is essentially starting all over again. I have moved back in with my mom temporarily after university to save some money, but it was only for about 7 months before I left for grad school.

I would have no problem with it as long as there was enough room for us all to have our space!
