What's up for the weekend y'all? Plans? Expenses?

I have to work my 2nd job tonight and pay bills tomorrow. I don't forsee us doing much this weekend but I do need to make a grocery store run at some point. Not for much - oatmeal for my morning breakfasts at work, some snacks for the kids, etc. Trying to keep it under $50.

A friend that lives near me wants me to go with her to investigate her local library. I figure that'd be fun and its FREE to me and the kids so that's always good.

Otherwise, low key weekend. My sister had a baby YESTERDAY so I hope to see and visit with her but I don't want to crowd her either.

We have to go grocery shopping, but that's it. I gave up spending money on anything but the essentials for Lent. LOL

Its going to be a booze weekend *sigh* oh well gotta have soooome fun! I'm in a mixed curling bonspiel and I'm sure the beer will go down nicely. I have already paid the fees in cash ($25, curl 3 games and get a nice dinner so not bad) and I have cash for beer. If I take it easy my head won't hurt or my wallet!! But I'm not promising anything!

Heather,
I love Jodi Picoult too. She has a new hardcover. You should see if you can reserve it on hold at your library. I don't remember the name - I just saw it the other day at the bookstore. Didn't buy it - knew the library would eventually get it!

Well I got paid today, so I refilled all my envelopes (well I actually use paperclips in my wallet).
