March financial goals

I don't think we did this yet for March, did we?
My goal for March would be to pay off the largest APR card that I have, a Citi card at 10.49%, but that isn't going to happen. I still owe $815. That, along with my other cards, and DD's birthday fast approaching, is too much.
My goal is to get below $8000. I'm at $8550 and haven't used a CC in months (that has made all the difference....) so I feel really good about the prospects of achieving that goal. $7500 would be great, but we'll see about that.
So what is your goal for March? Can we continue to blizzard away with spring on the horizon?

Major blizzard for me in March! I am hoping to pay off $9K in c/c's (tax return.) By doing this we will take our totals from about $25K to about $18K. I am very pleased with this. Major dent for us!
We have not added to our debts which is making me very pleased and happy. Once we pay off about $9K our minimums will lower and since I am used to paying a certain amount I can still do so to knock them down faster. BUT, if we are having a tight tight month I know we have a little more wiggle room then before. Big step for us.

You are doing great this year!

Sometimes not adding to our debt is all that we can do. It's still a great goal!
I know what you mean about b-days. DD's is coming up and I'm not really sure where the money will come from. I do have some time, so will have to revisit the budget.

I think you might have the edge over me until next January, LOL. I'm spending more time working on my novel and less working for other folks so that cuts my income a bit, and we have five birthdays spread out over the next six months (then our parents in Sept., Oct., and Oct.) so between our five kids and that, it's definitely heating up around here as far as snow goes. Then, of course, Christmas is next. We've managed to cut our monthly expenses by about $300/mo by paying stuff off and that will jump to $375 by the first of May, but with the birthdays it'll be hard to flake. (Two sets of parties are combined by their choice, but I still do separate cakes and themes and then we take each one out individually on his or her birthday for dinner and to choose a gift).
It sounds like you have enough distractions yourself, though. I hope you get snowed in anyway. =c) Figuratively, of course.
I love this, though. I AM motivated! NOTHING I can buy feels better than getting rid of this debt. This is the first time I've been this determined and darn if it isn't working! *grin*

Well my goal WAS to be below $1000 on the CC debt, but I am not sure if it will happen or not.
We had some unexpected medical expenses here (nothing major, just prescriptions needing refilling, OTC things etc). However, since I haven't made a claim yet this year, I have to pay the deductible. Ugh. We will see how it goes.

We are hoping to pay off the braces by the end of the month-- that will free up $185 a month.
My goal is to NOT spend anything which we have not already allowed for in our budget and to meet the bills which we have this month.
